I went for a shape up. Told the barber for a slight trim and my guy chopped my hair in half. Did the same to my friend... who went. I got charged for a regular haircut instead of trim. When I specifically asked for a trim with like a centimeter off the top and lining me up on the sides. I would definitely not recommend. I was done dirty and I ADVISE EVERYONE to not go if you care about your hair length because they do not get you right.read more

Absolute worst haircut I have gotten in my entire life. I warn all SBU students, do not come here. I told the barber... exactly what I wanted and he completely butchered my head. My wife called and spoke with Vinny and set up a 430 appointment for today for my son. We walk in the door at 420 and... there was a young girl giving a man a haircut, it looked as if she may have been new. Vinny asked us if we had an appointment and said she will be right with you. Only one customer getting a cut and my son and I waiting. Vinny was standing at his station playing on his tablet while we waited patiently. After waiting for about 45 minutes we got up and walked out. A professional would have sat my son down knowing this young girl was far from done and cut my son's hair instead of playing on his tablet. Would not recommend this shop to anyone. Rockabilly Barbers is a real nice spot for a trim, buzz or a shape up. Anyone that I see leaving looks sharper than... when they arrived. Everyone working there is professional and will take the time to listen to what I have to say and are respectful. For me, I won't need to look anywhere else for a cut. BTW, for first timers, the barbershop doesn't face the road, look for the driveway in-between two other businesses that leads to a handful of business that will be on your left side.read more

VERY knowledgeable and respectful. i use Vinny who knows how to cut my very unique flattop.. THE WORST HAIRCUT I HAVE EVER GOT. I REPEAT!! THE WORST.The guy didn't even asked me what I wanted. He started cutting... my hair without confirming my choice. I came from VA for my sister's graduation, it was right next to Stoney Brooke. They got me out the way understood I... needed to look fresh gave me one of the best fades I ever had , funny barbershop talk that we don't have to much of in VA. This place is the best around Stony Brook! I recently moved to this area back in 2021! I was struggling to find a great... barbershop. Until I went and meet Vince. Been going here since I was a kid and my mom took me, than I experimented with other places just to try and came right... back. The guys are great owner Vinny is an amazing guy. I’ve tried many other places notbing is a friendly and good as rockabilly. I use Gerome, extremely experienced and nice guy. Listens to instruction and can help you figure out what your looking for if you don’t know. If your looking for a new shop this is the place hands down!read more

Went to this location yesterday when the E. Northport location was closed. Nice overall atmosphere and excellent... music. Got a cut from Jerome. Super nice, super cool dude and a great barber. I've been letting my hair grow the past 8 months so he definitely had a job on his hands and it came out exactly how it wanted it. I found a new barber and shop. He and the other guy working were both funny and cool. See you next time!read more

I've known about this shop for a long time but figured it was nothing special. I was extremely wrong. The staff here is... excellent and the haircuts are even better. I've gone here a few times now to get my hair and beard cut. Everyone is really friendly and they take their time. I've been to plenty of other barbers that make you feel like they want to get you in and out of the seat as fast as possible for the next customer. Great price and the service is fantastic.read more
