Rockabilly Barbers, the original rock & roll barbershop, has won ‘Best Barber Shop’ on Long Island 10 years in a row by the readers of Long Island Press. All Rockabilly Barbers establishments are staffed with talented barbers who are perfectionists with men’s and boys haircuts, fine-tuning each with a straight razor.

Our barbers are skilled in the art of shave and beard cultivation. Treat yourself to a signature hot towel shave or our custom beard experience.

We support many local events and give back to our communities by donating time, service, and support to many local and national charities such as Bikers for Babies, St. Baldrick’s, and the Wounded Warrior Project.

COMPANY HISTORY

With the dream of opening up a rock and roll barbershop, Robert Wagner established Rockabilly Barbers Inc. in July of 1998 in East Northport. Despite contradictions from many, he opened up with three chairs, a talented staff, a killer sound system, and some great rock and roll memorabilia.

From the get go Rockabilly Barbers was a success. Within a year, Rockabilly Barbers moved to an even larger location to house eight chairs and operators and is now the permanent home base.

Growing rapidly, Rockabilly Barbers North opened in the Huntington Village in October 2000. Following shortly thereafter Rockabilly Barbers East opened in Stony Brook. Staffed with talented barbers’ at all three locations, Rockabilly Barbers has earned the award for “Best Barber Shop on Long Island” multiple years in a row.

Rockabilly Barbers gives back to our communities by donating time, service, and support to many local and national charities such as Bikers for Babies, St. Baldrick’s, and the Wounded Warrior Project.

Robert Wagner, a former Marine and now owner/operator of a multi-tiered, progressive barbering business, Robert took barbering to the next level with the opening of Rockabilly Barbers Inc.

Inducted into the exclusive group “Long Island’s 40 under 40” for his pioneering vision, Robert has also been prominently featured in numerous media outlets for his trade such as Passion Hair, Milady’s Standard Barber Styling textbook, Time, Fortune, Entertainment This Week, The New York Times, Newsday, and International Tattoo Art.

Known as a mover and shaker in the industry, Robert Wagner, a N.Y.S. licensed master barber and cosmetologist, has been an advisor to Suffolk County B.O.C.E.S. Barbering Curriculum, an educator and national platform artist for American Crew and Woody’s, and an a semi-finalist in the Global Salon Awards for Industry Management. in addition to running his chain of barbershops.

A fun dynamic energetic man, Roberts following covers one end of the spectrum to the other, “from grandfathers to grandson…” from the most conservative to the most abstract in men’s hair.
